I suppose an introduction is in order…

My name is Edilio Diaz. I’m a voiceover artist and technical analyst in the public sector hailing from the Dominican Republic. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Miami and I’ve called Atlanta, Georgia my home for 10+ years. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, although I wouldn’t mind knowing a few more languages.

Throughout my journey in life, I’ve developed a passion for storytelling and learning more about the world around us.

So, how did I end up in this whirlwind business?

Well, one thing I’ve always been told since I was young was that I had a commanding and powerful voice. My first foray into the world of professional voiceover happened when my old roommate asked me to narrate the Atlanta Falcons’ tribute to NFL Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez upon his retirement. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, but that moment lit a spark within me. For some time, that spark would remain just that. In 2022, I decided to fan this spark into a flame. I began training at Atlanta Voiceover Studio, and since then, I’ve felt a deep sense of belonging and purpose behind the mic.

What do I do beyond voiceover and public service?

Outside of my professional life, I love to travel with my wife, capture life’s great moments through my camera lens, escape into new worlds and realities through video games and cinematic experiences, and belt out the best (and worst!) songs during karaoke nights.

Using my voice as your instrument, I want to bring your stories to life, infusing each project with the same dedication and passion that I bring to all aspects of my life. I look forward to working with you and creating something extraordinary together.
